Kicking off e-portfolio

After a bit of research we are excited to be kicking off this e-portfolio for our Florida Sate annual homeschooling evaluations along with journaling our adventures into the new world of homeschooling.

This portfolio should have a history of studies, a link to a reading log and anything else we want to share with our family, mentors, evaluators, and ourselves to share our learning experiences.

Catching up... We withdrew TLG from Corvallis Waldorf School after finishing 3rd Grade. We needed the freedom to enjoy worldschooling philosophies.

We've been researching homeschooling philosophies and have found a nice fit with blending Waldorf inspiration with worldschooling socializing. We've developed some initial goals and started work towards reaching since the beginning of summer.

Over this last summer we've been working honing 3rd Grade skills with a core curriculum book. Our past challenges were with reading, so T has decided to work that module from beginning to end before doing much else. So far so good!!!

We are learning about how to date pages and little things to better facilitate monitoring progress. We'll be experts in no time.

Additionally we've traveled a bit. We are seeing a wonderfully fun word that one can easily get lost in if we aren't focused on navigation. More on that soon!!!
