People made money many way though trading, one of the way was that the merchants sold Spices at very high prises, like a pound of pepper was about 1,000 dollar now a day. Second one was the miners, the Miners would get food from wife’s and work from mon to sun

Other money way was to sell sugar and tobacco and people would make slave work 43% more and would make rum with the left over stuff that didnt go with sugar.
