Cooking

Today, I made French toast by myself. As she was ready to walk out the door, I asked Granny a quick question about what she put in the egg mixture to make French toast. She said that she used milk, pancake mix, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. She suggested using a pie plate as well, but because the area was so large, I decided to use a plastic container to allow it to soak more freely. I used three eggs, a pinch of salt, a quarter teaspoon of vanilla extract, cinnamon, 2 1/2 tablespoons of pancake mix, and three eggs. While the cooktop was heating up, I soaked a piece of bread in the eggs. After the pan had completed preheating, I coated it with butter and flipped the bread in the eggs for a few seconds before placing it in the pan. I flipped it a few times before putting it to a dish to make sure it was perfect. I did the same thing with the other one and the beginning of the last one, but I still had some egg left over, so I plopped it on top of the French toast and it turned into a pancake. I only had to turn it once more and wait two minutes before transferring it to the plate, and it looked like a giant fluffy pancake with all three stacked on top of each other when I looked at it.
