He was so sore from chopping the tree that he had almost given up! That was until his grandpa came with a buggy with a helpful tip. He thought of making a scarecrow! Once they were done with the scarecrow they went to go have dinner. The next day while he was having breakfast his father said he kept hearing barking. So he raced to the tree, once he got there he saw that both of his pups were there keeping watch of the tree. He thought that the scarecrow was kind of useless as he chuckled. So he went to go get his ax and when he came back he was going to give that tree a piece of his mind. After about late noon or the evening he could not do it anymore, he had swung too much. With the only thing he could think of he asked God to give him strength he needed, there was a gust of wind! The next thing he knew the tree was on the ground and his pups had killed the coon. he went back to his house and showed his parents and his sisters the prize with the proudest smile any boy could ever have.
