Where the red Fern grows chapter 8

It was hunting season, and he was ready. He got an ax and he got dogs. While he was sharpening his ax his father came up to him and and started to chat, once they were done talking he went back to sharpening his ax. That night he got his dogs, his ax and his lantern. Once the dogs picked up the scent they started sniffing away. There were twists and turns, lakes and a bunch of obstacles in their way but they were as strong as ever. Once he treed the coon He was so happy, but there was a problem, that was the biggest tree he had ever seen. But with anger and determination he started swinging. He swang till the morning, but he still kept swinging.
