He waited for days for the letter, every day he went to his Grampa's store, but his Grandpa would give only a grim look and tell him no. But one day while he was going to the store he seemed happier. He said that the letter had come in! So he was going on an adventure to get those pups, but he first got packed though. He packed cornbread, meat and other items for his adventure. It was a bumpy road but along the way he met some women, mean school boys and other unfriendly people. After he got the pups from the store was set to go home. On his way he met a cougar and a nice marshal on the way. When he opened the door his mama wept and was relieved and his dad congratulated him on the pups. When supper was ready, he thought of all the incredible stories he was going to tell
